Building a Winning Team

What could stronger teamwork do to your bottom line?

Stopping a movie 15 or 20 times to analyze its content probably sounds more like a screenwriting workshop than a leadership seminar. But that’s just what we’ll do, all in the interest of understanding lessons on teamwork, delegation, accountability, and the importance of staying focused on your goals.

“Hoosiers,” starring Gene Hackman, depicts the true story of a controversial coach who inspires a down and out basketball team from Indiana to beat the odds and become State Champs.

During the course of this full-day workshop, we analyze the main characters, how they achieve remarkable goals and how those lessons can be applied everyday within your organization.

Participants will go away with an understanding of the following key concepts:

  • Situational analysis
  • Factors that inhibit teamwork
  • Importance of clear focus
  • Focusing on the essential details
  • The importance of accountability
  • Traits of a true team member
  • Motivation and inspiration
  • Traits of an effective coach

This workshop also incorporates Behavioral Style Analysis, which analyzes each participant’s communications behavioral style so they may better understand themselves and their behavior at work. It also provides insight into why people respond to them in a particular way.
