Communication and Persuasion
The twin darlings of success.
Leriot believes that an ability to persuade and communicate effectively is inextricably linked to strong leadership. To illustrate that connection, we’ll break down the classic courtroom drama, “12 Angry Men,” starring Henry Fonda.
This film provides a virtual gateway to help participants understand group dynamics and its impact on leadership. We’ll use specific scenes and character interactions in the film as jumping off points to illustrate such concepts as:
- The impact of environment and context on communications
- Strategies and tactics of effective persuasion
- The power of personality
- Managing the communication process
- The importance of group consensus building
- High-impact techniques to change opinions and attitudes
The Communication and Persuasion workshop will also provide participants with a host of specific tools they can use to expand their own personal persuasion repertoires.
Even if you’re never called on to deliver closing arguments, this workshop will help you master a set of concepts and skills that will serve you well in any situation where you’re goal is to win people over to your side.
